I had a very positive and reassuring experience with Dr. Sampurna Ghosh when my 7-year-old son needed ENT treatment and surgery.
I initially went to Dr. Sampurna Ghosh specifically for my son's tongue-tie. During her assessment, she also evaluated his adenoids and tonsils, and after discussing everything with us, it was decided that all 3 issues could be addressed together. My son ultimately underwent Tongue-tie release, Adenoid removal and Tonsil removal in a single surgery.
As a parent, deciding to go ahead with surgery for your child is never easy. I had many questions and concerns, but from the very first time I met Dr. Sampurna Ghosh, I felt reassured. What immediately stood out to me was that SHE WAS NEVER IN A HURRY. She took the time to listen to me, understand my concerns and, most importantly, focus on my child rather than simply focusing on the surgery.
I never felt that she was trying to rush us into a procedure. Her approach was calm, patient and genuinely child-focused.
One particular thing made me trust her even more. When she first came to know that we were planning to travel only around 10 days after the surgery, she actually advised us not to go ahead with the tonsil surgery with that travel timeline. She clearly told me that she could not take that risk because my son needed enough time to recover properly after the surgery.
For me, that was a very important moment. She could have simply proceeded with our original plans, but instead she put my child's safety and recovery first. Because of her advice, I changed our travel dates and planned everything around my son's recovery.
That honesty and responsibility gave me a lot of confidence in her.
My son then underwent all 3 procedures — tongue-tie release, tonsil removal and adenoid removal — in one go. Throughout the whole process, I felt that he was in very caring and responsible hands.
I would also like to specially mention Farooq Sir, who assists Dr. Sampurna Ghosh. He has been genuinely wonderful throughout our entire journey. I contacted and messaged him many, many times regarding medicines, medication routines, follow-ups, doubts and general questions during my son's recovery. He was always ready to help.
Even when he was not available at that exact moment, he would get back to me later rather than leaving my message unanswered. That kind of support makes a huge difference when you are a parent managing your child's recovery, especially when you are away from home and constantly worrying about whether you are doing everything correctly.
I genuinely feel that my entire journey was made so much easier because of Dr. Sampurna Ghosh and Farooq sir. Having a doctor who puts the child first and an assistant who is so responsive and helpful gave me a great sense of comfort throughout the process.
What I appreciated most about Dr. Sampurna Ghosh was not only her medical knowledge, but her patience, honesty, careful decision-making and genuine concern for my son's wellbeing. She looked at him as a child who needed proper care, rather than simply as a surgery case.
As a mother, that means a lot. I was all alone travelled from Ireland, Europe for this checkup, but never felt alone in this process.
I am truly grateful to Dr. Sampurna Ghosh and Farooq Sir for making what could have been a very stressful experience much easier for us. From the first consultation, through the surgery and during the recovery period, I always felt that we had the right people supporting us.

We are extremely grateful to Dr. Sampurna Ghosh and her team at Medicover Hospital, Hitech City, for the outstanding care provided to our 9-year-old son.

Our son had been suffering from persistent ear discharge for nearly two years. Despite multiple treatments at various hospitals and consultations with different doctors, the problem continued and was causing significant concern for our family. After reading positive Google reviews, we consulted Dr. Sampurna Ghosh.

From the very first consultation, Dr. Sampurna carefully evaluated his condition, explained the diagnosis and treatment plan in a clear and patient manner, and answered all our questions. Based on her expert assessment, our son underwent Mastoidectomy and Tympanoplasty.

Throughout the entire journey—from diagnosis, pre-surgery treatment, and surgery to recovery and follow-up care—Dr. Sampurna Ghosh demonstrated exceptional professionalism, expertise, and compassion. What particularly impressed us was her commitment to ensuring the best possible outcome for our son. She remained in continuous coordination with the Infectious Disease Specialist whenever required, ensuring that every aspect of his treatment was closely monitored and managed appropriately.

We would also like to thank Dr. Aishwarya for her support and care during the surgery, recovery period, and subsequent follow-ups.

We would also like to thank Mr. Farooq, who coordinated appointments, communication, and follow-ups efficiently. His prompt assistance and willingness to help made the entire process smooth and stress-free for our family.

It has now been more than two months since the surgery, and thankfully there has been no ear discharge. We hope this continues, with the continued care and guidance of the doctor. We continue to attend follow-up consultations as advised, and we remain highly satisfied with the care and support provided by the entire team.

Dr. Sampurna Ghosh is not only a highly skilled ENT surgeon but also a doctor who genuinely cares about her patients and their families. She took very good care of our son and was always friendly and reassuring in her interactions with him. We wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone dealing with chronic ear problems or other ENT conditions. Due to an accident in Somalia , I suffered from paralysis on the face , unable to close my eyes or smile properly , they asked me to go to India for treatment. My mother had consistent watery discharge from nose since 3 months and for that reason we visited Dr Sampurna Ghosh who took the history and did detailed evaluation and told us the diagnosis is CSF Rhinorrhea.
